Ethiopia… What a Beautiful Country!
Addis Ababa truly surprised me in the best possible way. Never in my dreams had I imagined a city that is so clean, organised, and well-maintained. As we explored the city, it was remarkable to see roads free from litter—not even a single piece of paper in sight. Without a doubt, Ethiopia is one of the cleanest countries I have ever visited.
What impressed me even more was the discipline and responsibility of the people towards keeping their country clean and beautiful. Their pride in their nation is visible everywhere. I was also amazed by the elegant street lighting that looks like chandeliers across the city. Every road seemed beautifully illuminated, creating a stunning atmosphere after sunset.
During our city tour, we visited the beautiful Entoto Garden, offering breathtaking views of Addis Ababa, and later explored the vibrant Unity Park with its mesmerising dancing fountains.
Ethiopia is also world-famous for its coffee culture. As the birthplace of coffee, every cup here tells a story. The aroma, flavour, and authenticity of Ethiopian coffee made the experience truly unforgettable.
Another highlight was the wonderful hospitality of Ethiopian Airlines. During my 18-hour layover before flying to Maun, Botswana, the airline arranged hotel accommodation, meals, and transportation completely free of charge, making my stay comfortable and memorable.
Ethiopia gifted me beautiful memories, warm smiles, incredible coffee, and experiences I will cherish forever.
