Africa did not introduce itself politely. It arrived as a feeling — in Tanzania first, then in places I would return to again and again. I witnessed how deeply health, environment and everyday life are interconnected, and how strength often exists quietly within communities. Travel, I realised, is not just about places — it is about people, stories, and shared humanity.
Long before Africa, my connection with nature had already begun in the forests of India — where my first encounter with a tiger left a lasting imprint on my soul. Over the years, I explored the wilderness extensively, but Africa awakened something far deeper — a sense of stillness, respect, and belonging. The wild was no longer just a landscape. It became something deeply personal.
It was here that I realised: travel is not just about seeing the world — it is about understanding it. That realisation gave birth to Wanyama WildEscape. A space where journeys are not rushed, but thoughtfully curated. Where safaris are not itineraries, but stories waiting to unfold. Where every experience is designed with sensitivity — to nature, to wildlife, and to the communities that form the heart of these landscapes.
My background in science continues to shape this vision. It has taught me to observe deeply, respect balance, and approach every environment with awareness — values that now define every journey I create.
